KCU Announcement

     KCU Announcement

After twelve years as KCU CEO Paul Jackson informed Trustees at the 2021 AGM that he will be retiring from his post on the 31st December 2022.

Trustees have agreed a new structure going forward, which is to replace the CEO role with two directors. Lynn Chapman will take on the responsibility of Strategic Director, responsible for the delivery of our strategic plan and Sylvia McLevy, will assume the role of Operations Director, responsible for the day to day running of the charity.

This restructure provides a more robust management organisation for the future and was made possible through some of the significant achievements during Paul’s 12 years as CEO. This has included relocating the charity to Town Centre premises to make us more accessible, increased the number of partners we work with to over forty and developed a unique Foodbank Model that has supported many thousands of people over the years.

Paul leaves behind a legacy of an inclusive, non-judgemental and caring culture within the charity. The Trustees would like to thank him for his major contribution, commitment and dedication to KCU over all these years.

Ruth Groome

Chair of Trustees
